信息工程学院设有计算机科学与技术(省重点建设专业、省新兴特色专业)、信息管理与信息系统(校级重点专业)、电子信息工程(校级特色专业)、物联网工程等四个本科专业。遵循“厚基础、强实践、求创新”的人才培养理念,通过“完善课程体系、强化实践能力、引导学生科研创新”等多种举措,培养的学生深受社会欢迎,就业薪水多年来居全校首位,人才培养成效显著。  

 

Education Features (Undergraduate Education)

 

School of Information Engineering has four programs, Computer Science and Technology (provincial key construction program and provincial emerging specialty program), Information Management and Information System (university key program), Electronic Information Engineering (university specialty program), and Internet of Things Engineering. Following the idea of “reinforcing foundation, strengthening practice, and pursuing innovation”, by "improving curriculum system, strengthening practical ability and directing students’ research and innovation", the school has cultivated many students that are welcomed by employers. For years, the employment salary ranks No.1 among all schools of the university. The educational achievements are remarkable.

学院重视学生实践能力的培养,除正常开设的实验、实训、课程设计、实习等课程外,还开展了针对大一新生的“学长助学”、以大二和大三学生为主体的学科竞赛、针对大三学生的“卓越工程师”人才培养、和针对大四学生的“PAT认证”考试等一系列举措,使学生在每一年级都能有所学、有所为,层层提升学生实践能力

The school attaches great importance to students' practical ability. In addition to the normal experiments, curriculum projects, training courses, the school also carried out a series of initiatives like "Senior Mentor" for the freshmen, academic competition mainly for sophomores and juniors, "Outstanding Engineers" training for juniors, and "PAT certification" exam for seniors, so students in each grade can learn something and enhance their practical ability.

积极鼓励和引导学生参与科学研究,并为本科生进入实验室接触科研工作提供了便利条件和经费支持。自创院以来,学院就设立了学生IT创新实验室。学生在老师的指导下进行课题研究和生产实践活动,提高了自身的创新能力,在此基础上将研究成果用于学科竞赛、发表论文和专利等,取得了非常好的成绩。

 

Guiding students in research and innovation

The school actively encourages and guides students to participate in scientific research, and provides convenient condition and financial support for undergraduates to join research in the laboratory. The school established Student IT Innovation Lab when it was founded. In the lab, under the guidance of teachers, students improved their ability of innovation. The research results have been applied to academic competitions, paper publishing and patent applications.

 


 

 

国际化教育

 

 

 


 


 

 

注重学生国际化教育,不断加大国际化交流支持力度。近年来,先后组织了香港访学、台湾访学,赴美社会调研的寒、暑期项目,与比利时天主教大学、英国考文垂大学等的交换生和交流生项目,学习项目和参与人数不断增加。同时,通过“引进+培养”相结合的方式,提升师资的国际化教育水平,并积极举办和参与国际学术会议,继续拓宽科研视野。

The school also focuses on international education and strengthens the support for international exchange. In recent years, the school has organized activities such as Hong Kong universities visit, Taiwan universities visit, US winter and summer visit, and student exchange programs with Belgian Catholic University and Coventry University. The number of participants is increasing. At the same time, by the combination of "import + cultivation", the school enhanced the faculty’s international education skills, actively organized and participated in international academic conferences, and thus broadened research horizons.
